Our values
The standards we hold to
Integrity
Findings are reported as they are. Methods are described so others can check them. Negative and inconvenient results are part of the record.
Equity
Access is a scientific problem, not a charitable add-on. If a result cannot reach the people it was meant for, the work is not finished.
Rigour
Ethical approval, regulatory compliance and methodological care are preconditions for the work, not paperwork that follows it.
Openness
We publish, we share, and we collaborate. Knowledge held privately does not improve healthcare outcomes.
Mentorship
Senior researchers are expected to develop junior ones. Capacity building is a duty of the role, not an optional extra.
Partnership
We work alongside academic institutions, healthcare providers and public health systems rather than in parallel with them.
