Digital Media

Recorded talks, video explainers and audio — for audiences that text does not reach well.

Why video and audio

Formats that reach further

Written material assumes a reader who is comfortable reading, in a language they read fluently, on a device suited to it. That excludes a substantial part of the audience our health information is meant for.

Video and audio reach further. A short recorded explanation of what a screening test involves, in the relevant language, will reach people that a leaflet will not. Recorded seminars serve a different purpose again — a talk given once to thirty people can be watched by researchers who could never have travelled to attend.

Formats

What we produce

Recorded seminars

Talks from our seminar programme, recorded and made freely available.

Health explainers

Method demonstrations

Recorded demonstrations of laboratory techniques, supporting our training programmes.

Research summaries

Brief video accounts of what a study found and what it means.

Audio

Recorded discussion and interviews, for listening rather than watching.

Campaign material

Video and audio produced for community health awareness campaigns.

Our media library will be published here
