Camps, drives and field activities — the practical delivery of our community programmes.
The delivery end of the work
Outreach activities are where community programmes meet actual people: a screening camp in a village, a health education session at a school, a testing drive run with a partner clinic. They are also where programme design is tested against reality — what worked on paper often turns out to depend on assumptions that do not hold in the field.
Activities are run with local partners and staffed by a mix of Center personnel and volunteers. Every activity is designed with its follow-up already arranged, so that people who need care after the visit have somewhere defined to go.

Outreach activities depend on volunteers — for registration, logistics, health education, translation and follow-up. No clinical background is required for many of these roles.
