Fellowships, internships, workshops and mentorship designed to give early-career scientists a genuine route into biomedical research.
Research capacity is people. Instrumentation can be purchased and laboratories can be built, but neither produces anything without researchers trained to use them well — and training is the part most often left to chance.
The Center treats capacity building as a core function rather than an outreach activity. Our programmes run from short technical workshops through to funded fellowships, and they share one design principle: participants do real work on real questions, supervised, rather than observing from the side of the bench.
