A non-profit foundation for health innovation and biotechnology
We undertake biomedical research, build laboratory and human capacity, and work to make the results of that research genuinely reachable.
The Center for Health Innovation and Biotechnology was established to promote and undertake scientific research in molecular biology, biotechnology, diagnostics and public health — and to do so in the public interest, on a non-profit basis.
In practice that means three things happening together: research that addresses real clinical and population health questions, facilities and training that make such research sustainable locally, and services and outreach that carry the results to people who would otherwise not reach them.
