From validated research to something people can actually use
An incubator and partnership programme turning biomedical research into affordable, accessible products and services.
Most health research stops at publication. The distance between a validated method and a product a clinic can order is where a great deal of useful science quietly disappears — and that gap is wider in settings where the commercial return does not justify the development cost.
Our innovation programme exists to cross that gap deliberately. Our founding objectives commit us to developing, testing and validating biotechnological products, biomaterials and diagnostic systems with a focus on innovation, affordability and accessibility. Innovation here does not mean novelty for its own sake; it means finding a route to something usable at a price that does not exclude the intended user.
Innovation programmes
The route from idea to deployment
- 01
Proposal
An idea is submitted with its clinical or public health rationale and an honest account of what is already known.
- 02
Assessment
We assess scientific merit, feasibility, ethical implications, and whether the end result could realistically be affordable.
- 03
Development
Supported development and laboratory validation, with cost and accessibility tracked as design constraints throughout.
- 04
Deployment
Routes to use through partners, services or licensing — structured so the result stays accessible.
Have an idea worth developing?
We welcome proposals from researchers, clinicians, students and founders working on health and biotechnology problems.
