An instrument that is not calibrated is not an instrument. This fund covers the servicing, calibration and replacement parts that keep the Center's laboratories capable of producing results anyone should rely on.
It also builds capacity: each addition widens the range of testing the Center can offer, both to researchers and to the patients referred for subsidised diagnostics.
